New People. New Beginning. New Adventure.

I arrived in New York City almost a week ago! Flying over the Statue of Liberty and thousands of buildings made it surreal before landing in LaGuardia.
So far I have visited Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Trump Tower, Central Park, Largest Store in the World (Macy's),

Madison Square Garden, Washington Square Park, West St., Bryant Park, Coney Island and so much more.

Highlights:
- Eating Pinkberry with Rachel. Original and pomegranate swirl with chocolate chips and strawberries on top! Delicious treat!
- Hanging out with my german family and dad going to Rockefeller Center and Times Square to eat at Planet Hollywood. So Touristy
- Exploring M&M World, Greenwich Village and the rest of NYC with my dad. Loved the night bus tour of the Brooklyn Bridge! Must do this at night. So appreciative that he helped me move out to the big city!
-Coney Island with Ryan. We even rode the Wonder Wheel, which was very excited for me because I wrote a poem based off of this ride.
- Moving in and getting acclimated in the city with Kelsey and Cassie (my roommates)
- Central Park vendors!
- Pete's a place with Kelsey. Drunk couples walked in and they were so dramatic that we wanted to shoot a Real World Film right then and there... you know the drill: "This is the true story... of seven strangers... picked to live in a house...work together and have their lives taped... to find out what happens...when people stop being polite... and start getting real...The Real World... NEW YORK CITY"

Drink Specials:
- Pub on 50th St. and 8th Ave. Serve dogfish with 120 hops = 21% alcohol content. This pub also has many different beers from all over the world. On a good night, 2 for 1 Stellas

- La Carbonara: Used to be Primavera. Brunch on Sat and Sun from 12-4p.m. $12 for unlimited Mimosas, screwdrivers or bloody marys (thanks for the heads up Kait!)

- Crocodile Lounge: With every beer purchased, you get a ticket for a free 6 inch pizza. Pizza was edible. Crowded but a fun time overall.

This is my first blog, so we will see how it goes!
